In reply to Stacey Savala. Stacey, Make sure the butter was heated to the right temp and that all your other ingredients were at room temperature before using. It seemed very buttery at first, but as soon as it was all combined, it wasn't that buttery or greasy. As far as the air bubbles, how much did you mix it? you don't want to over-mix it and create more gluten than necessary, it is just mixed to combine and until smooth. hope that helps.

Mine ended up VERY buttery and with air bubbles all over the top. .. any idea what I did wrong?

These look like the PERFECT brownies. They look just as a brownie should! I have a brownie recipe of my own that uses bittersweet chocolate, but they never come out looking like yours! I'll have to give yours a try 🙂 I'll let you know how it goes!
