It is hit or miss with what my stores carry. I prefer the softer ones or homemade (here's my recipe https://www.loveandconfections.com/2015/02/vanilla-bean-ladyfingers.html). If the harder ones are all that is available I will use them, but prefer the softer/lighter cookies.
