Ingredients
  

Sweet Spiced Butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch kosher salt
Hot Cider Buttered Rum
  • 1 tablespoon sweet spiced butter
  • 1.5 ounces dark rum
  • 7-8 ounces hot apple cider
  • garnish with cinnamon sticks

Method
 

Sweet Spiced Butter
  1. In a small bowl, add butter, apple pie spice, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Beat until combined. Place in airtight jar with lid and refrigerate.
Hot Cider Buttered Rum
  1. Place butter into mug and top with rum. Pour hot apple cider over butter and stir to dissolve. Garnish with cinnamon stick and enjoy.
